Robert Weisert

Robert Weisert is a founder of Vertical Television, Inc. and has been responsible for the company's engineering and technical operations since 2002. He has 23 years of experience in the cable/satellite/television industry. Prior to founding Vertical AV▲TV, Robert was with DIRECTV and Cypress Communications, where he designed and installed some of the largest satellite and CATV systems in the country.

Robert has designed and managed the complete installation and build-out of telephone, data and business television switch rooms and riser distribution systems in large class A office buildings in over 30 cities throughout the U.S. He worked with DIRECTV when the company launched its first satellite in 1994, and also developed and managed the home theater division for Dallas-based Goodman Television Company. Robert has advanced electronics certification from Richland College, and has certifications from Thompson/RCA, Sony, SBCA and DIRECTV in satellite television installation and design. Mr. Weisert is presently a Grade III DIRECTV trainer and has trained and certified more than 100 technicians throughout the country.
